Colette Czarnecki
Colette enjoys new experiences and seems to always be looking for a challenge! She has dibble-dabbled with puppetry in the past:
- helping friends with previous shows,
- as well as designing a scroll of shadow scenes, then publicly viewing the scroll while playing the lovely accordion.
Other than that, she constructs mobiles from time to time and has experience in film, where she attended classes at the Detroit Film Center. There she took Experiemental Film and Animation. Both resulted in end products:
- 16mm experimental film viewed at the 6th Annual Video Fest organized by the 555 Gallery
- Claymation, "heartstrings," presentation at the Detroit Film Center
- Collaborated with other animators to view an animated short.
She's excited about the Lab and the final results. No matter how challenging storytelling may seem, she is continuously learning and is grateful for the invaluable information that can be used beyond the present moment!
